DareData hosted the first Airflow Meetup in our country, in partnership with Astronomer and NOS.

We had a great time discussing the latest trends and challenges in data decentralization, understanding how Data Contracts enhance data sharing, and showcasing examples of Data Mesh with speakers Andrew Jones from GoCardless, António Costa from NewData.Tech, Diogo Santos from NOS, and André Godinho from DareData.

‍

Transitioning to a Data Mesh requires a cultural shift within organizations. Data developers, from software engineers to data scientists, have increased responsibilities for the data they produce. This effort must be recognized and incentivized.
